Family photoshoots
A family photograph is authentic and invaluable. It reflects who you are, it tells your story and shows that you fit together as a unit! Family photographs affirm to your children that each family member is important, valued, protected and loved. When children see themselves in a family photograph it instantly gives them a sense of belonging and a sense of security.
All the cellphone selfies and cameras propped on tripods with self-timers (and I do both!) can't replace the beauty of a single well-timed, professionally taken photograph. A good family photograph is much more than just great smiles and everyone looking at the camera at the same time... it captures the magic of who you are and celebrates your unity. Family photographs are timeless and something to hold onto for ever. Displaying family photographs in your home is a wonderful way to show your children that you value times spent together as a family.
It is the greatest privilege to witness a family making memories together, expressing themselves and reflecting it in an image. Family photographs are best taken using beautiful natural late afternoon light, preferably on weekends when everyone is relaxed!
